We live in a state of constant flux. Moving between our our own internal realities and those of the people and of the environment surrounding us, it is easy to become lost. My practice searches for those moments of clarity where our own individual voice stills and the flow between these elements starts to exist outside of time. I search for those moments where we merge both visually and experientially and we find our own space within the noise surrounding us.
In my work I attempt to heighten this sense of poetry, presence and beauty by getting rid of distraction and drawing the attention of the viewer to that moment of pause before the next shift. To create a stanza, a quiet visual flow through the human experience of connection, individuality and of life.
